Along with a fresh design for the new One World Trade Center, a beautiful Memorial Plaza is also being created, featuring two reflecting pools surrounded by over 400 oak trees and situated within the footprints of the original twin towers. The Memorial will be dedicated on September 11, 2011, and open to the public the following day.
